MSBO proudly honors districts and multiple district collaborative efforts with innovative and cost-savings programs as part of its Meridian Award of Excellence.
All awardees will be recognized at the MSBO Annual Conference Luncheon and Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at the Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan. The winners will also be honored in their districts. This year’s awards go to the following districts for their exceptional programs:

Winner: Michigan Retirement Investment Consortium for its 403b Compliance and Investment Program.
Honorable Mention: Downriver Operations Managers for the Collaborative Purchasing of Maintenance Services, Supplies and Equipment with Neighboring School Districts program.
