Do You Know What Your Data Means? Do you know its Accuracy?
There's a growing awareness that effective teaching, efficient schools, and quality data are linked. Good quality data is integral to the teaching, learning and operations of a school.

The key is to focus on data entry — getting the data right at the source. So, the Michigan Institute for Educational Management (MIEM) in conjunction with Center for Educational Performance (CEPI) have teamed up to offer tools, ideas, and methods to school districts on how data is used and how it's reported.

MIEM is offering this event for your district's data stewards to learn more about the "Culture of Quality Data."

The National Center for Education Statistics has developed a curriculum to help school districts. The curriculum will help district staff plan, recommend, and implement strategies for building an educational data system that will support local, state, and national efforts to improve public and private education.

The goal of this workshop is to support you in the development of your Quality Data environment.

This session is for:

  • Superintendents
  • Board Members
  • Business Managers
  • Anyone who has a direct responsibility in reporting data
