Since 1992, the SET SEG Fun Run/Walk has been a staple on the MSBO Annual Conference schedule of activities. The 20th Anniversary of the event will be held during the conference on Thursday, April 28 at 7 a.m. Please plan to participate in this milestone event!
Start your day in a great way with some exercise (at your own pace) in beautiful downtown Grand Rapids. The Fun Run/Walk will consist of a one-mile run or walk and a 5K (3.1 mile) run or walk. Both events will start and finish at the west end of the Amway Grand Plaza. The race course includes the area around the Amway and the neighboring Ah-Nab-Awen Park.
Predict your time in the event you choose – but no timepieces are allowed during the race! The individual who comes closest to his or her prediction in each event will receive a prize. In addition, the male and female runner with the best time in the 5K event will each receive a prize.
Participation in each event is FREE! The registration form is available with the conference registration information on the MSBO website. Register early. A complimentary t-shirt will be provided to SET SEG Fun Run/Walk participants who preregister by the April 8, 2011 deadline. Let’s have a record level of participation this year.
